The audience thought a goal was coming when Lynkeus Kreskas got free with Dimosthenis Calpis in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Iphitos Strilakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lynkeus Kreskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dimosthenis Calpis made a huge save. The supporters of Zaganiári booed when Karóta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhesos Jamussa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Labdakos Arvanitoyannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhesos Jamussa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Epeios Tyrovolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koulis Rorris in the 26th minute of the match. Troizen Giangos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Labdakos Arvanitoyannis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Epeios Tyrovolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 played minutes Zaganiári got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Kotsiopoulos. If Lynkeus Kreskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apsyrtos Lipsanos made a kick off. Lynkeus Kreskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimosthenis Calpis having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Zaganiári's goal looked a bit too open when Troizen Giangos came free, but Dimosthenis Calpis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimosthenis Calpis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troizen Giangos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Lynkeus Kreskas in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Aietes Liatos, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Labdakos Arvanitoyannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimosthenis Calpis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troizen Giangos in the 68th minute of play. Troizen Giangos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dimosthenis Calpis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karóta FC. 72 minutes into the game, Lynkeus Kreskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dimosthenis Calpis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Apsyrtos Lipsanos's late challenge caught a Karóta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apsyrtos Lipsanos helped the player get up and apologised. Apsyrtos Lipsanos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Troizen Giangos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karóta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Troizen Giangos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 minutes, Lynkeus Kreskas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zaganiári's Dimosthenis Calpis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Labdakos Arvanitoyannis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaganiári's supporters rose to their feet, but Labdakos Arvanitoyannis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epeios Tyrovolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lynkeus Kreskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Labdakos Arvanitoyannis took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Epeios Tyrovolas to make any attempt to save it. If Apsyrtos Lipsanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
