The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alkinoos Kyritsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aigyptos Matsoukis in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, SUVOROVKA F.C's goalkeeper Alkinoos Kyritsis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leukothoe Horiatis. In the 32nd minute, Polybos Blades hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Askanios Rachiotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Michalis Kiriakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michalis Kiriakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Askanios Rachiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Polybos Blades managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUVOROVKA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Polybos Blades was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Polybos Blades was the one to do the kick off. Michalis Kiriakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polybos Blades in the 52nd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aigyptos Matsoukis couldn't finish the play. Polybos Blades struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Michalis Kiriakopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SUVOROVKA F.C. In the 78th match minute, Pesky Peasants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poias Malavazos to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Pesky Peasants's goal looked a bit too open when Polybos Blades came free, but Michalis Kiriakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pesky Peasants booed when SUVOROVKA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Skeiron Papadakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Polybos Blades got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alkinoos Kyritsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leukothoe Horiatis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Spiros Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SUVOROVKA F.C players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
