Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alkmaion Lagidis started the match with the kick off. ELLAS F.C.'s Alkinoos Kokkali got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michalis Bourikas got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Menios Economides handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Man Utd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ptolemeos Rallis came free, but Menios Economides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkmaion Lagidis in the 10th minute of play forced ELLAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Agis Sakelaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agis Sakelaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkmaion Lagidis in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th play minute Musios Nikolaou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Agis Sakelaris. 1-0. Ptolemeos Rallis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agis Sakelaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkmaion Lagidis in the 23rd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Musios Nikolaou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 played minutes ELLAS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Musios Tsahalis. Menios Economides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ptolemeos Rallis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Man Utd FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Akis Argitakos hit a great ball. If Ptolemeos Rallis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ELLAS F.C. booed when Man Utd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iphiklos Pagonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Musios Tsahalis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Menios Economides skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michalis Bourikas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Giorgos Rigatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkinoos Kokkali hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Man Utd FC's Eumaios Alatza tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ptolemeos Rallis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menios Economides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. If Giorgos Rigatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Giorgos Rigatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agis Sakelaris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Alkinoos Kokkali fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ELLAS F.C.'s protests and gave Alkinoos Kokkali a yellow card for diving instead. Alkinoos Kokkali hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. ELLAS F.C.'s Agis Sakelaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkmaion Lagidis in the 92nd minute of play. Man Utd FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ELLAS F.C. for a fine match.
