Phoibos Melissinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Likourgos Xydis in the 18th minute of the match. Argiris Antoniou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dimitris Petrohilos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phoibos Melissinos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimitris Petrohilos in the 29th minute. Alexandros Rigopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argiris Antoniou in the 31st minute of the match. Dimitris Petrohilos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Phoibos Melissinos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The DENIAK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. DENIAK FC's Eteokles Rousakis got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Tantalos Haritopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Likourgos Xydis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Dimitris Petrohilos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phoibos Melissinos was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Peaky Blinders F.C's zone, Daidalos Fitzios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phoibos Melissinos came out of the goal and Daidalos Fitzios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phoibos Melissinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Petrohilos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Petrohilos in the 57th minute of play forced Peaky Blinders F.C's goalkeeper Phoibos Melissinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phoibos Melissinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Petrohilos in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Dimitris Petrohilos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENIAK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitris Petrohilos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of DENIAK FC booed when Peaky Blinders F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aigimios Giannakopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimitris Petrohilos struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Phoibos Melissinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DENIAK FC. After having played for 77 minutes, Likourgos Xydis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENIAK FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Likourgos Xydis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Telis Lagidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandros Rigopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 89 minutes into the game, Dimitris Petrohilos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Phoibos Melissinos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Phoibos Melissinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Petrohilos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eteokles Rousakis struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Phoibos Melissinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DENIAK FC.
