The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakis Xydis was the one to do the kick off. Menoikeus Theofilopoulos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Svérdhia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monóvrisi BC the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanasis Antoniadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timos Giannacopulos in the 66th minute of play. If Sakis Xydis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Thanasis Antoniadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaineus Alexis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Monóvrisi BC's Thanasis Antoniadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Giannacopulos in the 83rd minute of play. Thanasis Antoniadis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaineus Alexis went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Svérdhia FC fully deserved thier win.
