Arkas Calogerakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Menios Kaglantge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prokris Kokkali in the 27th minute of the match. Thrinakie Giannopoulos's late challenge caught a Lambánitsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thrinakie Giannopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Thrinakie Giannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menoikeus Georgeakopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes in the game, Alkibiades Rigatos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Menios Kaglantge having to interfere. Arkas Calogerakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makhaon Spyridis in the 41st minute of play. After 41 minutes of play Mesáritsa's Thrinakie Giannopoulos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mesáritsa's Thrinakie Giannopoulos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Mesáritsa's goal looked a bit too open when Menoikeus Georgeakopoulos came free, but Arkas Calogerakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Makhaon Spyridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lambánitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Makhaon Spyridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alkibiades Rigatos was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lambánitsa's zone, Prokris Kokkali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Kaglantge came out of the goal and Prokris Kokkali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Menoikeus Georgeakopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesáritsa's goalkeeper Arkas Calogerakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Menoikeus Georgeakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkibiades Rigatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Kaglantge having to interfere. If Makhaon Spyridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menios Kaglantge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkibiades Rigatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Makhaon Spyridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Makhaon Spyridis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arkas Calogerakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
