Agis Skandalis lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Khórtos FC booed when Koúfaros BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agis Skandalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koúfaros BC's Takis Sakellaridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akrisios Kapataidakis in the 43rd minute of play. Takis Sakellaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argiris Georgousopoulos in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Koúfaros BC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Giorgos Efraim hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Kelaino Kokoris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khórtos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelaino Kokoris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takis Sakellaridis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khariklo Karnoupakis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Takis Sakellaridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khórtos FC. If Leontin Albeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 80 played minutes Koúfaros BC got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Albeanu. 85 minutes into the match, Argiris Georgousopoulos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Koúfaros BC's Takis Sakellaridis. Takis Sakellaridis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
