Glasgow:s Srećko Soldo showed great skill when he stopped Nassos Stamatelopoulos:s penalty. Panos Polychronopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Teo Constancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thrinakie Kountouroudas was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 29th match minute, Glasgow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrinakie Kountouroudas to maneuver through the defense. Srećko Soldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nassos Stamatelopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Christos Mihas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lykurgos Georgenes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apollon Limassol's Teo Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Kaglantge in the 66th minute of play. Teo Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xouthos Pezos in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Lykurgos Georgenes made a precise shot to the right of Teo Constancio. Apollon Limassol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Apollon Limassol getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Iakobos Koutsoubos hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Glasgow got a freekick which was hit by Augeias Lagidis. Glasgow's Antonis Kaisaris quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ptolemeus Nikolakopoulos, made in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Xouthos Pezos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lykurgos Georgenes scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Constancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Apollon Limassol's Lynkeus Angelopoulos got a free kick in the 89th minute.
