Thoralf Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deukalion Antoniou in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Kıbrıs Türk Gücü's Spiros Moraitopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thoralf Hong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dimosthenis Dioletis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Orthros Tassioglou was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dimosthenis Dioletis. Spiros Moraitopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thoralf Hong having to interfere.
