Spectators: 9179 (Terracing: 6886, Seating: 2111, VIP seats: 182) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Odysseas Melonakos kicked off to start the match. Alexandros Villas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Polybos Phocas made a huge save. After 8 played minutes Le Cabaret got a freekick which was hit by Aigyptos Papoutsis. In the 9th minute of the match Pavlos Kanavos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Polybos Phocas skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melikertes Mersinias got free with Polybos Phocas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Russ Sanderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kanake Papadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timos Softhis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandros Villas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kanake Papadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Sanderson having to interfere. Russ Sanderson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Softhis in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Apostolis Mousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Le Cabaret's Polybos Phocas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Melonakos in the 30th minute of play. Alexandros Villas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Polybos Phocas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Le Cabaret's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Melonakos came free, but Polybos Phocas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timos Softhis in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russ Sanderson saved AC OMONOIA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kanake Papadis in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Russ Sanderson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timos Softhis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Le Cabaret was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kanake Antonopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Polybos Phocas was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Odysseas Melonakos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Odysseas Melonakos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kanake Papadis to strike the kick off in the second half. AC OMONOIA's Russ Sanderson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save AC OMONOIA from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes AC OMONOIA got a freekick which was hit by Kaineus Rigatos. With a little luck, AC OMONOIA's Russ Sanderson got control of the ball when Kanake Papadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timos Softhis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Timos Softhis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Sanderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC OMONOIA's Russ Sanderson got control of the ball when Kanake Papadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC OMONOIA's Russ Sanderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Softhis in the 95th minute of play. After 99 minutes of play, Le Cabaret's Kanake Papadis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Russ Sanderson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Le Cabaret were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
