An unexpectedly hard shot by Epigonoi Tsaousidis in the 31st minute of play forced AC OMONOIA's goalkeeper Russ Sanderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alkyoneus Mitsinikos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Russ Sanderson made a huge save. After some careless play in the AC OMONOIA defense, Alkyoneus Mitsinikos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Russ Sanderson. The AC OMONOIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Russ Sanderson should have stopped the shot. If Epigonoi Tsaousidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russ Sanderson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alkyoneus Mitsinikos in the 40th minute. Russ Sanderson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Likymnios Antonopoulos. AC OMONOIA's Russ Sanderson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save AC OMONOIA from getting a goal against them. In the 50th minute, Alkyoneus Mitsinikos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Russ Sanderson. The goal made the score 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Odysseas Melonakos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AC OMONOIA's zone, Epigonoi Tsaousidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russ Sanderson came out of the goal and Epigonoi Tsaousidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Asproyerakáta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkyoneus Mitsinikos to maneuver through the defense. Epigonoi Tsaousidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Leukippos Stasinopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC OMONOIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asproyerakáta the free kick. Russ Sanderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epigonoi Tsaousidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Alkyoneus Mitsinikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Sanderson having to interfere. Russ Sanderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epigonoi Tsaousidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Epigonoi Tsaousidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Alkyoneus Mitsinikos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epigonoi Tsaousidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russ Sanderson having to interfere. Asproyerakáta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
