Kanake Papadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Theodoratos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laios Houlis in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polybos Phocas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the game, Helios Haritos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Polybos Phocas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th match minute, Efstathiou UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haides Telis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Efstathiou UTD's Orthros Poulakis got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Haides Telis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Efstathiou UTD's protests and gave Haides Telis a yellow card for diving instead. 28 minutes into the game, Efstathiou UTD's Haides Telis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Polybos Phocas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kanake Papadis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Konstantinos Theodoratos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Timos Softhis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Le Cabaret fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timos Softhis couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Helios Haritos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polybos Phocas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polybos Phocas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Banos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasilis Egonidis lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kanake Papadis was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laios Houlis got free with Polybos Phocas in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efstathiou UTD's Haides Telis got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timos Softhis in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 95 played minutes, Le Cabaret's Likourgos Manetas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konstantinos Theodoratos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Le Cabaret reached it.
