Efstathiou UTD's Konstantinos Theodoratos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lykurgos Georgenes in the 44th minute of play. Glasgow's Panos Polychronopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konstantinos Theodoratos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lykurgos Georgenes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The goalkeeper, Srećko Soldo, was totally fooled by Efstathiou UTD's Akastos Hagias, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 66 minutes into the match, Efstathiou UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Lykurgos Georgenes came free, but Konstantinos Theodoratos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Efstathiou UTD's zone, Xouthos Pezos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinos Theodoratos came out of the goal and Xouthos Pezos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Panos Polychronopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Glasgow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panos Polychronopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Lykurgos Georgenes made a precise shot to the right of Konstantinos Theodoratos. Efstathiou UTD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Xouthos Pezos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efstathiou UTD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lykurgos Georgenes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Xouthos Pezos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glasgow's supporters rose to their feet, but Xouthos Pezos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Theodoratos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konstantinos Theodoratos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lykurgos Georgenes in the 95th minute of the match. If Xouthos Pezos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Glasgow fully deserved thier win.
