Thoralf Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timos Softhis took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thoralf Hong. Thoralf Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Apoel Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Kroios Stagias came free, but Thoralf Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Le Cabaret's Timos Softhis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thoralf Hong was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Kalogiannis in the 23rd minute of play forced Apoel Stars's goalkeeper Thoralf Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Timos Softhis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thoralf Hong. Apoel Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timos Softhis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Thoralf Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kroios Stagias in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Dimosthenis Horiatis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Takis Kalogiannis made the kick off in the second half. Thoralf Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Softhis in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Apoel Stars getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dimosthenis Dioletis hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Areion Pezos with Timos Softhis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Apoel Stars's Thoralf Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takis Kalogiannis in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute Timos Softhis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thoralf Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kroios Stagias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Thoralf Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Softhis in the 73rd minute of play forced Apoel Stars's goalkeeper Thoralf Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the game Likourgos Manetas made a throw-in which Takis Kalogiannis played forward. Thoralf Hong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aigyptos Papoutsis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. In the 87th minute Timos Softhis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thoralf Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94th play minutes Dimosthenis Horiatis shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Polybos Phocas and just under the crossbar into goal.
