Askanios Georgeakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakobos Saatsakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Epigonoi Letsos charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epigonoi Letsos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KYPEROUNTA F.C's Epigonoi Letsos got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 17 minutes, Laios Spyridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anorthosis Famagusta FC and the KYPEROUNTA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. 18 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patroklos Markopoulos came free, but Eumaios Petrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lynkeus Mavromichalis came free, but Eumaios Petrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patroklos Markopoulos in the 20th minute of play forced Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goalkeeper Eumaios Petrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daidalos Sarantopoulos came free, but Eumaios Petrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Kouros's late challenge caught a KYPEROUNTA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kostas Kouros helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Anorthosis Famagusta FC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Kouros. Anorthosis Famagusta FC's Eumaios Petrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Batsakis in the 32nd minute of play. Eumaios Petrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patroklos Markopoulos in the 34th minute of the match. Eumaios Petrakis came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by KYPEROUNTA F.C's Lynkeus Mavromichalis. But to his dismay, Lynkeus Mavromichalis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eumaios Petrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lynkeus Mavromichalis in the 39th minute of the match. When Laios Spyridis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Anorthosis Famagusta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laios Spyridis couldn't finish the play. Eumaios Petrakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patroklos Markopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Timos Batsakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eumaios Petrakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patroklos Markopoulos to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Timos Batsakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eumaios Petrakis. That made the score 0-4 in the 52 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timos Batsakis got free with Eumaios Petrakis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eumaios Petrakis was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Lynkeus Mavromichalis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lynkeus Mavromichalis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Laios Spyridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Askanios Georgeakopoulos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daidalos Sarantopoulos got free with Eumaios Petrakis in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Anorthosis Famagusta FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timos Batsakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leonid Burenin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Askanios Georgeakopoulos having to interfere. In the 75th play minute Timos Batsakis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eumaios Petrakis. 0-7. Lynkeus Mavromichalis scored 0-8 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eumaios Petrakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eumaios Petrakis was a little too slow when Lynkeus Mavromichalis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-9. Askanios Georgeakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Burenin in the 85th minute of play. Askanios Georgeakopoulos came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Anorthosis Famagusta FC's Leonid Burenin. But to his dismay, Leonid Burenin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. If Lynkeus Mavromichalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patroklos Markopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eumaios Petrakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Patroklos Markopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, KYPEROUNTA F.C's Timos Batsakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eumaios Petrakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. KYPEROUNTA F.C played a much better game than Anorthosis Famagusta FC and deserved their victory. The Anorthosis Famagusta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
