Spectators: 9262 (Terracing: 6948, Seating: 2130, VIP seats: 184) FC Koutourou's Asopos Kapsimalles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes PAFOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Lynkeus Plevritis. In the 5th minute, Asopos Kapsimalles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Adamski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oinomoas Gravari, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lynkeus Plevritis scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Akhilleus Tsahalis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Gilberto Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akhilleus Tsahalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Sousa in the 16th minute of play forced FC Koutourou's goalkeeper Akhilleus Tsahalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Koutourou's Akhilleus Tsahalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lynkeus Plevritis in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Koutourou defense, Hortêncio Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akhilleus Tsahalis. The FC Koutourou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akhilleus Tsahalis should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akhilleus Tsahalis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26 played minutes FC Koutourou got a freekick which was hit by Aris Economides. When PAFOS FC's Lynkeus Plevritis in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Koutourou's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to PAFOS FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Simeon Papageorge hit a great ball. Gilberto Sousa struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Akhilleus Tsahalis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAFOS FC. With a little luck, FC Koutourou's Akhilleus Tsahalis got control of the ball when Washington Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akhilleus Tsahalis came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by PAFOS FC's Washington Peixoto. But to his dismay, Washington Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. FC Koutourou's Akhilleus Tsahalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Sousa in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes FC Koutourou's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haimon Angelis who took care of the corner kick. PAFOS FC's Haimon Angelis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Akhilleus Tsahalis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Koutourou's Akhilleus Tsahalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lynkeus Plevritis in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, FC Koutourou's Asopos Kapsimalles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krzysztof Adamski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lynkeus Plevritis made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, PAFOS FC's Hortêncio Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akhilleus Tsahalis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Washington Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akhilleus Tsahalis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Peixoto in the 59th minute of play forced FC Koutourou's goalkeeper Akhilleus Tsahalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lynkeus Plevritis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koutourou's Akhilleus Tsahalis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 minutes of play FC Koutourou's Asopos Kapsimalles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Koutourou's Asopos Kapsimalles got a free kick in the 66th minute. PAFOS FC's Washington Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, FC Koutourou's goal looked a bit too open when Lynkeus Plevritis came free, but Akhilleus Tsahalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akhilleus Tsahalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Koutourou's goalkeeper Akhilleus Tsahalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Lynkeus Plevritis made a precise shot to the right of Akhilleus Tsahalis. FC Koutourou's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Haimon Angelis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Lynkeus Plevritis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAFOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 97th minute Hortêncio Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akhilleus Tsahalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that PAFOS FC were the better team. PAFOS FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
