In the 11th minute, Matias Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Melikertes Siannas. TRNC FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's Matias Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melikertes Siannas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. OMONOIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melikertes Siannas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Napoleon Kiewra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Matias Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melikertes Siannas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TRNC FC's Melikertes Siannas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Araújo in the 92nd minute of play. Melikertes Siannas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
