The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alpheios Markopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mánthia's Alpheios Markopoulos got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Anestis Katsambis made a precise shot to the right of Rey Acitores. APOELHELLAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Koulis Mestas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Popowicz in the 10th minute of play. Mánthia's Koulis Mestas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 14th minute of play. The corner led APOELHELLAS's Damazy Absolwent to fire away a dangerous shot which Koulis Mestas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themis Pantelakos in the 19th minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Dicastillo got free with Rey Acitores in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Dionisio Dicastillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rey Acitores was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, APOELHELLAS's Rey Acitores got control of the ball when Themis Pantelakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Dicastillo in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Dionisio Dicastillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rey Acitores was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 32nd minute Dionisio Dicastillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Acitores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Iphitos Gravari could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Rey Acitores however easily saved by the left post. If Anestis Katsambis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sang Gama in the 40th minute of play forced Mánthia's goalkeeper Koulis Mestas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mánthia's Dionisio Dicastillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rey Acitores. That made the score 4-0 after 41 minutes of play. 44 minutes into the game, Sang Gama was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. APOELHELLAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mánthia the free kick. Sang Gama kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Dicastillo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Anestis Katsambis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rey Acitores. APOELHELLAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anestis Katsambis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The supporters of APOELHELLAS booed when Mánthia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themis Pantelakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonard Popowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Aspinall in the 63rd minute of play. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Pantelakos in the 69th minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, Mánthia's Iphitos Gravari made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rey Acitores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonard Popowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. APOELHELLAS's Rey Acitores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Dicastillo in the 93rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Dicastillo came free, but Rey Acitores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mánthia had played much better football throughout.
