APOELHELLAS's Rey Acitores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save APOELHELLAS from getting a goal against them. If Ladislao Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 14th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Harriet in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rey Acitores saved APOELHELLAS from getting behind. The supporters of Empire of Soccer booed when APOELHELLAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Hylander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ladislao Harriet sent off a good shot on target. Ladislao Harriet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Rey Acitores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ladislao Harriet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rey Acitores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Rey Acitores came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anton Hylander made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sang Gama however managed to control. Rey Acitores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 28th minute. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ladislao Harriet sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Sang Gama came free, but Nestor Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ladislao Harriet sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of APOELHELLAS booed when Empire of Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, APOELHELLAS's Jeremias Egoitz got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ladislao Harriet really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sang Gama to strike the kick off in the second half. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 51st minute of play. APOELHELLAS's Rey Acitores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 54th minute of play. Rey Acitores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Harriet's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The APOELHELLAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rey Acitores should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 65th minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Ladislao Harriet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Empire of Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Empire of Soccer's Pavlos Galanopoulos was substituted for Ladislao Harriet. In the 73rd minute, Sang Gama ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Guillelmus was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Sang Gama came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nestor Guillelmus could save by the left post. Rey Acitores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavlos Galanopoulos in the 79th minute of the match. APOELHELLAS were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Empire of Soccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damazy Absolwent took the corner. APOELHELLAS's Makareus Poulakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nestor Guillelmus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pavlos Galanopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rey Acitores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 86th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Galanopoulos came free, but Rey Acitores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Empire of Soccer were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after APOELHELLAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teukros Diplarakos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Teukros Diplarakos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rey Acitores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavlos Galanopoulos in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rey Acitores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Empire of Soccer support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
