Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Timofey Rekun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pilip Mironszyk struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Sergey Pivavarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LiDA. Jan Sladkevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergey Pivavarov having to interfere. Viktor Guluta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timofey Rekun in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Timofey Rekun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viktor Guluta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bogdan Gagarin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Viktor Guluta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timofey Rekun's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Viktor Guluta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timofey Rekun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Guluta was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Timofey Rekun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timofey Rekun really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 40 played minutes Gomel got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Zamiralov. Timofey Rekun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Guluta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pilip Mironszyk to make the kick off. Pilip Mironszyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sergey Pivavarov made a huge save. Viktor Guluta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timofey Rekun, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Viktor Guluta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Gagarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Viktor Rubinov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LiDA and the Gomel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC LiDA's Viktor Rubinov got a free kick in the 60th minute. Bogdan Gagarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Viktor Guluta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, FC LiDA's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Zamiralov came free, but Viktor Guluta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Gagarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sergey Zamiralov came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gomel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergey Zamiralov couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pilip Mironszyk in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergey Pivavarov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Sladkevich might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergey Pivavarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Sladkevich ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Gomel's Bogdan Gagarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Guluta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gomel's Sergey Zamiralov got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Gomel got a freekick which was hit by Sergey Zamiralov.
