After having played for 26 minutes, Patap Esipenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polotsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patap Esipenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Polotsk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Baranovichi's Oles Rasanov got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arseny Stahanovich. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Baranovichi's Andrey Panich got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
