Spectators: 6809 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nikita Salagub made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 minutes, Vasily Magera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorki and the Gomel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Gorki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasily Magera to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Nikita Salagub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haryton Melnikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikita Salagub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Yaroslav Prusov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Valery Rekun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Gomel's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Medvedev came free, but Aleksandr Papkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikita Salagub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergey Alekseichik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gomel booed when Gorki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Brovko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timur Medvedev was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Gorki's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Timur Medvedev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timur Medvedev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasily Dalezky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Gorki's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Salagub came free, but Haryton Melnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergey Alekseichik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haryton Melnikov having to interfere. Haryton Melnikov came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Gomel's Sergey Alekseichik. But to his dismay, Sergey Alekseichik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 65th minute, Valery Rekun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Gorki's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Salagub came free, but Haryton Melnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Vasily Dalezky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksandr Papkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valery Rekun in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gomel's goalkeeper Aleksandr Papkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Nikita Salagub got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 82nd minute, Gomel's Nikita Salagub dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Andrey Kalinin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timur Medvedev during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gorki's Timur Medvedev got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gomel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
