In the 38th minute, one of ФК БАТЕ Борисов:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ФК БАТЕ Борисов.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arhip Razuvanov made a kick off. When Timur Bychkov fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ФК БАТЕ Борисов's protests and gave Timur Bychkov a yellow card for diving instead. Rastislav Zakrevsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vyacheslav Parfenovich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, ФК БАТЕ Борисов was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksey Rusinovich to maneuver through the defense. The MOTOR-73 MINSK fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when MOTOR-73 MINSK's Vyacheslav Parfenovich looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 75th minute, Vyacheslav Parfenovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergey Sergeev charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergey Sergeev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Radislav Semaga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 96 minutes, Arhip Razuvanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК БАТЕ Борисов's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arhip Razuvanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ФК БАТЕ Борисов's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MOTOR-73 MINSK had won, even though ФК БАТЕ Борисов had held more of the ball.
