Anatoly Antonenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ignat Zamiralov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignat Zamiralov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoly Antonenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Nichypar Usik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gomel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichypar Usik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nichypar Usik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anatoly Antonenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ignat Zamiralov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Boris Zaboranko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baranovichi's Ignat Zamiralov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichypar Usik in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nichypar Usik was the one to do the kick off. Ignat Zamiralov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichypar Usik's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Baranovichi's Ignat Zamiralov got control of the ball when Nichypar Usik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baranovichi's Ignat Zamiralov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichypar Usik in the 66th minute of play. Tadeuz Levashenko hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ignat Zamiralov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichypar Usik in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Gomel's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Zaboranko came free, but Ivan Mironov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gomel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
