Spectators: 7800 (Terracing: 5851, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of Golders Green booed when Baranovichi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vadim Labanenok didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Oleg Malafeev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baranovichi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golders Green the free kick. Ignat Zamiralov made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Sidor Lapuga sent off a good shot on target. Aleksey Baydakov kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ivan Okunev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Patap Laburenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sergey Afanasenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergey Afanasenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Zaboranko's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Baranovichi's zone, Kuzma Stasuchonok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignat Zamiralov came out of the goal and Kuzma Stasuchonok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Golders Green's Kuzma Stasuchonok sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignat Zamiralov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Golders Green's Sergey Afanasenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patap Laburenko in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Baranovichi were awarded a corner. Aleksey Baydakov went to the cornerflag to take it. Arseny Bogdanov tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sergey Afanasenko. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes Baranovichi got a freekick which was hit by Semen Karsakovich. The Golders Green players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baranovichi were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boris Zaboranko made a kick off. Boris Zaboranko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergey Afanasenko came out and tried to block the shot, but Boris Zaboranko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Patap Laburenko made a precise shot to the right of Sergey Afanasenko. Golders Green's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Sergey Afanasenko didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Sidor Lapuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Golders Green's Sergey Afanasenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Golders Green from getting a goal against them. Baranovichi's Boris Zaboranko got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patap Laburenko scored 1-6 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergey Afanasenko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patap Laburenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergey Afanasenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Patap Laburenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baranovichi's supporters rose to their feet, but Patap Laburenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergey Afanasenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuzma Stasuchonok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ignat Zamiralov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Baranovichi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Baranovichi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
