In the 4th minute Vladimir Yablonsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaroslav Glinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lubamir Alekseichik in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yaroslav Glinsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vladimir Yablonsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, one of FC Minsk City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikhail Mihalovich shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Vladimir Yablonsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Yaroslav Glinsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lubamir Alekseichik in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yaroslav Glinsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lubamir Alekseichik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yaroslav Glinsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lubamir Alekseichik in the 31st minute of the match. Yaroslav Glinsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Yablonsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Yablonsky to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Sanevich in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genady Ishyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lubamir Alekseichik got free with Yaroslav Glinsky in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lubamir Alekseichik came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Polotsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lubamir Alekseichik couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Minsk City's Yaroslav Glinsky got control of the ball when Mikita Fadeev tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Vladimir Yablonsky dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yaroslav Glinsky, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimir Yablonsky in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yaroslav Glinsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77thth minute of the game Vladimir Yablonsky who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Minsk City's Yaroslav Glinsky was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Polotsk's Vladimir Yablonsky got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lubamir Alekseichik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dmitry Bishkevich kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Polotsk's Lubamir Alekseichik got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimir Yablonsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaroslav Glinsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Yablonsky in the 90th minute of the match. Anton Sanevich might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genady Ishyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Sanevich ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes of play, FC Minsk City's Svetapolk Burak made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genady Ishyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FC Minsk City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Polotsk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
