Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) Leonid Sinitsyn started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genady Zakharov in the 3rd minute of play forced Kobrin's goalkeeper Vyacheslav Lameiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Vyacheslav Lameiko throw himself and got hold of the ball when Genady Zakharov in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Miron Bannikov might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vyacheslav Lameiko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miron Bannikov ran back to his position shaking his head. Vyacheslav Lameiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genady Zakharov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Kobrin's Vyacheslav Lameiko got control of the ball when Miron Bannikov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miron Bannikov struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vyacheslav Lameiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soligorsk. Kuzma Sadkovich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Sinitsyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miron Bannikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vyacheslav Lameiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Nichypar Barovik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soligorsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobrin the free kick. Nichypar Barovik hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Leonid Sinitsyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vyacheslav Lameiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genady Zakharov in the 27th minute of play. Miron Bannikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vyacheslav Lameiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Genady Zakharov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vyacheslav Lameiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miron Bannikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Soligorsk booed when Kobrin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staneslav Rotmistrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miron Bannikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Genady Zakharov made the kick off in the second half. Prohar Kovalev's late challenge caught a Soligorsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prohar Kovalev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Prohar Kovalev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Kobrin's goal looked a bit too open when Genady Zakharov came free, but Vyacheslav Lameiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apanas Anisimov hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Miron Bannikov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vyacheslav Lameiko. If Artyom Rebryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetamir Salamevich's late challenge caught a Kobrin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svetamir Salamevich helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Soligorsk getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Svetamir Salamevich hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genady Zakharov couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes, Soligorsk's Vladimir Plashkevich shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vyacheslav Lameiko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soligorsk reached it. 90 minutes into the match, Artyom Rebryn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuzma Sadkovich. Soligorsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artyom Rebryn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
