The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, FC MENTRIS's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Fadeev came free, but Esbjörn Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC MENTRIS booed when Rechitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semen Larkevich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Filimon Harbuz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MENTRIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filimon Harbuz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Rechitsa's goalkeeper Nikita Magera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filimon Harbuz. Liavon Tabunov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Groth having to make a save. 39 minutes into the game, Anton Fadeev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Esbjörn Groth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Krutikov in the 43rd minute of play forced Rechitsa's goalkeeper Nikita Magera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liavon Tabunov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esbjörn Groth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Filimon Harbuz in the 55th minute of play forced Rechitsa's goalkeeper Nikita Magera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liavon Tabunov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute FC MENTRIS were awarded a corner. Javier Raigal went to the cornerflag to take it. Oleg Krutikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nikita Magera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filimon Harbuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faustino Aires charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Aires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, FC MENTRIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Aires to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Vyacheslav Kovalev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikita Magera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Solano in the 89th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the FC MENTRIS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
