Nester Ponomarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Esbjörn Groth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filimon Harbuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timur Kalach having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Krutikov in the 7th minute of play forced Zhlobin's goalkeeper Timur Kalach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filimon Harbuz got free with Timur Kalach in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhlobin's Timur Kalach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oleg Krutikov in the 21st minute of play. Genady Antonenko charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genady Antonenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Zhlobin got a freekick which was hit by Genady Antonenko. After 31 minutes of play, FC MENTRIS's Oleg Krutikov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timur Kalach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oleg Krutikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filimon Harbuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zhlobin getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pakhom Isaev hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pakhom Isaev made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Filimon Harbuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Kalach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Zhlobin's Mikita Plashkevich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Groth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Nester Ponomarev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zhlobin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nester Ponomarev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filimon Harbuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Gleb Saladukha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Javier Raigal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timur Kalach skillfully saved the ball. Mikita Plashkevich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Groth made a huge save. After 71 played minutes FC MENTRIS got a freekick which was hit by Filimon Harbuz. Filimon Harbuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timur Kalach having to interfere. If Filimon Harbuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esbjörn Groth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nester Ponomarev in the 87th minute. Timur Kalach came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MENTRIS's Filimon Harbuz. But to his dismay, Filimon Harbuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 95th minute Filimon Harbuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Kalach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC MENTRIS's Oleg Krutikov got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
