Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aristides Gipuzkoa made the kick off which started today's match. Fedor Belkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Timur Meleshko made a huge save. Timur Meleshko came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gomel's Vyacheslav Nagulevich. But to his dismay, Vyacheslav Nagulevich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Timur Meleshko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filimon Demchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Timur Meleshko made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Fedor Belkin sent off a good shot on target. Sergey Andreev hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Tadeuz Laveiko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Gipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Fedor Belkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gomel's Mihas Reginevich in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szklow's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 29 in the game by Fedor Belkin from a close distance when the talented Timur Meleshko managed to make a qualified save. Szklow's players were relieved. The supporters of Gomel booed when Szklow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihas Valuj didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Gipuzkoa in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeuz Laveiko saved Gomel from getting behind. Filimon Demchenko hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Mihas Reginevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Meleshko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihas Reginevich was the one to do the kick off. Mikita Grigoriev hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Aristides Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tadeuz Laveiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szklow. Aristides Gipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tadeuz Laveiko made a huge save. Fedor Belkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Szklow's Aristides Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 65th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Szklow's goal looked a bit too open when Fedor Belkin came free, but Timur Meleshko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timur Meleshko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihas Reginevich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timur Meleshko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedor Belkin in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Szklow's goal looked a bit too open when Fedor Belkin came free, but Timur Meleshko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedor Belkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Timur Meleshko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Fedor Belkin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gomel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. There was no doubt that Gomel were the better team. Gomel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
