Hernani Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Minsk Wildcats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurend Ablij to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Tavares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hernani Branco firmly grabbed it by the left post. Turo Heinikallio took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernani Branco. In the 38th play minute Leopoldo Tavares came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hernani Branco. 8-0. After 41 minutes of play, Minsk Wildcats's Laurend Ablij made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernani Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Laurend Ablij took a quick shot and it went in 10-0 without a chance for Hernani Branco to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turo Heinikallio to make the kick off. Hernani Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Baki Peyami in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Turo Heinikallio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0.
