The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Griffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kinsen Escajedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Партизан's Adam Lipan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kinsen Escajedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Croxford, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Zewzek SK got a corner. Партизан's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oleg Kovalevsky ran over to the corner to take the kick. Oleg Kovalevsky made a great header on Zewzek SK's corner, it was just that Партизан's Kinsen Escajedo managed to reach the ball for a save. Sergey Charnikovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felice Di Lello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Ernst Ballas having to interfere. Партизан's Kinsen Escajedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marat Lebedev in the 41st minute of play. Kinsen Escajedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Croxford, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Партизан players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zewzek SK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Felice Di Lello made the kick off in the second half. If Rastislav Bagdanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Партизан booed when Zewzek SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 67 played minutes Zewzek SK got a freekick which was hit by Marat Lebedev. Fritz Ernst Ballas came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Партизан's Lubamir Sladkevich. But to his dismay, Lubamir Sladkevich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Партизан's Kinsen Escajedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Партизан from getting a goal against them. Партизан's Kinsen Escajedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Griffin in the 75th minute of play. When Jo Croxford came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Zewzek SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jo Croxford couldn't finish the play. Партизан's Lubamir Sladkevich got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Партизан manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Zewzek SK to win.
