Felix Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marat Lebedev in the 7th minute of play. Felix Ekhi was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Santos Griffin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santos Griffin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, NEW YORK's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Griffin came free, but Felix Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Sergey Charnikovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Peptan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zewzek SK's Leonid Rabovich got a free kick in the 27th minute. Claes Algren struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fritz Ernst Ballas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEW YORK. 32 minutes into the match, Sergey Charnikovich notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of NEW YORK's Felix Ekhi. Felix Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jo Croxford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NEW YORK's 杨瑜翔 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes NEW YORK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Phelipe. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Griffin was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, NEW YORK's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Ramashevsky came free, but Felix Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Charnikovich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zewzek SK booed when NEW YORK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurice Suetens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes NEW YORK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Phelipe. In the 55th minute of the match Oleg Kovalevsky shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Ekhi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jo Croxford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Felix Ekhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Jo Croxford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Sergey Charnikovich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zewzek SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Santos Griffin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ekhi having to interfere. Fritz Ernst Ballas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杨瑜翔 in the 69th minute of play. Zewzek SK's Fritz Ernst Ballas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 杨瑜翔 in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in NEW YORK's zone, Sergey Charnikovich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Ekhi came out of the goal and Sergey Charnikovich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as 杨瑜翔 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fritz Ernst Ballas. That made the score 3-1 in the 77 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Zewzek SK's goalkeeper Fritz Ernst Ballas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 杨瑜翔. Oleg Kovalevsky got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jo Croxford. Marat Lebedev hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Felix Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Charnikovich in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Zewzek SK were the better team. Zewzek SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
