Marat Lebedev might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mechyslav Milinkevich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marat Lebedev ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Спартак Гомель's Mechyslav Milinkevich got control of the ball when Jo Croxford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Lukashevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Griffin scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mechyslav Milinkevich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Zewzek SK's Sergey Charnikovich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mechyslav Milinkevich. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Mechyslav Milinkevich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Griffin in the 30th minute of play. Mechyslav Milinkevich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Griffin's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jo Croxford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Mechyslav Milinkevich made a huge save. Mechyslav Milinkevich was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Sergey Charnikovich capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergey Charnikovich really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 39 minutes, Jo Croxford made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Спартак Гомель's Mechyslav Milinkevich tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Yuriy Kabrynovich fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Спартак Гомель's protests and gave Yuriy Kabrynovich a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Спартак Гомель got a freekick which was hit by Yuriy Kabrynovich. Jo Croxford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Mechyslav Milinkevich made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Zewzek SK's Jo Croxford slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mechyslav Milinkevich. That made the score 6-0 after 43 minutes of play. When Sergey Charnikovich came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Zewzek SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergey Charnikovich couldn't finish the play. Спартак Гомель's Jan Dubkov was substituted for Pavel Lukashevich. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aleksandr Cherkas made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jo Croxford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Santos Griffin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mechyslav Milinkevich. Спартак Гомель's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Griffin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Vladislav Ramashevsky kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Jo Croxford notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Спартак Гомель's Mechyslav Milinkevich. Mechyslav Milinkevich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Ignat Taranenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mechyslav Milinkevich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Griffin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mechyslav Milinkevich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Griffin in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Sergey Charnikovich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mechyslav Milinkevich. Спартак Гомель's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergey Charnikovich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Mechyslav Milinkevich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marat Lebedev in the 84th minute of play. Jo Croxford took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mechyslav Milinkevich. Mechyslav Milinkevich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After 88 minutes of play, Zewzek SK's Sergey Charnikovich made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mechyslav Milinkevich was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Griffin took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mechyslav Milinkevich. Mechyslav Milinkevich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Mechyslav Milinkevich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Griffin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Ignat Taranenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mechyslav Milinkevich came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Zewzek SK's Santos Griffin. But to his dismay, Santos Griffin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. There was no doubt that Zewzek SK were the better team. Zewzek SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
