Veselin Dikanski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Totyo Dimanov in the 3rd minute. Remigiusz Penc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencho Vandov, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Vasko Gúlev hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Totyo Dimanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Tzeno Bikovski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigiusz Penc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Vidyo Beluhov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Penc. FC Neftochimic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vidyo Beluhov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 26 played minutes FC Neftochimic got a freekick which was hit by Rostislav Tzakovski. FC Neftochimic's Boycho Karemov got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vidyo Beluhov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigiusz Penc having to make a save. Veselin Dikanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Rakovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Spas Halov made a precise shot to the right of Remigiusz Penc. FC Neftochimic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vidyo Beluhov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Vidyo Beluhov fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ФК Тигрите's protests and gave Vidyo Beluhov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Vidyo Beluhov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Neftochimic's Marin Rakovski in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute, Evlogi Dragunchev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veselin Dikanski came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Neftochimic's Marin Rakovski. But to his dismay, Marin Rakovski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Remigiusz Penc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidyo Beluhov in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boycho Karemov in the 89th minute of play forced ФК Тигрите's goalkeeper Veselin Dikanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Borimir Kodzhabashiyski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Тигрите's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borimir Kodzhabashiyski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tzeno Bikovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigiusz Penc having to interfere. ФК Тигрите's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
