In the 24th minute, PFC Meden Rudnik-Burgas's Joosep Talviste ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov. Bozhin Hadzhiatanasov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Pomakov in the 33rd minute of play forced PFC Meden Rudnik-Burgas's goalkeeper Stoyadin Pachedzhiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The coaching staff of PFC Meden Rudnik-Burgas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zhelyo Uzunski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of PFC Meden Rudnik-Burgas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nalbantlare:s goal.
