After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nedyalko Achakanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. spartak VN's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedyalko Achakanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyuboslav Shukadarov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brunko Tzokev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyubomir Zinoviev in the 25th minute of the match. If Boycho Dryankov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Vute Mechkuev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of spartak VN booed when FC Prossenik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vute Mechkuev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Presiyan Shirokov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lyuboslav Shukadarov skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Vanko Dimiev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyuboslav Shukadarov was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Vute Mechkuev helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Prossenik getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vute Mechkuev hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Plamen Krantov charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Plamen Krantov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. spartak VN's Brunko Tzokev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boycho Dryankov in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in spartak VN's zone, Lyubomir Zinoviev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brunko Tzokev came out of the goal and Lyubomir Zinoviev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. spartak VN's Brunko Tzokev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boycho Dryankov in the 66th minute of play. Boycho Dryankov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Vanko Dimiev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lyuboslav Shukadarov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Lyuboslav Shukadarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vanko Dimiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Boycho Dryankov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vanko Dimiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The spartak VN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing spartak VN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
