Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 81) Chardafon's Evstati Mentov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Arso Ilev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manol Hadzhinikolov. Arso Ilev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jocelyn Cronier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerasim Nalbantov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evstati Mentov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jocelyn Cronier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arso Ilev came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Botiowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arso Ilev couldn't finish the play. Bozhin Ruzhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manol Hadzhinikolov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Branislav Gudzhev in the 37th minute. Botiowo's Bozhin Ruzhin got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bozhin Ruzhin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manol Hadzhinikolov. That made the score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Branislav Gudzhev to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Chardafon's goal looked a bit too open when Branislav Gudzhev came free, but Manol Hadzhinikolov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arso Ilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manol Hadzhinikolov having to interfere. Gerasim Nalbantov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jocelyn Cronier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Vancho Mechkuev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jocelyn Cronier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the game, Acho Tatarski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chardafon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botiowo the free kick. A collision led to Chardafon getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Acho Tatarski hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes Botiowo got a freekick which was hit by Gancho Shulekov. If Branislav Gudzhev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Chardafon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severin Deshkov to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Arso Ilev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botiowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arso Ilev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bozhin Ruzhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manol Hadzhinikolov having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Botiowo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
