The referee ignored Novo Oryahovo's protests and gave Nikifor Bogoin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Lazar Froloshki made a precise shot to the right of Tzeko Blagiev. Novo Oryahovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Krasimir Shtrapulyov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ACF Fiorentina had won after a very even match.
