Sergey Gyupchanov started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Drenta's goal looked a bit too open when Sergey Gyupchanov came free, but Velin Mitziev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velin Mitziev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Gyupchanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Drenta's zone, Nedelcho Papukchiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Velin Mitziev came out of the goal and Nedelcho Papukchiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Sergey Gyupchanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velin Mitziev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosen Gochev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denko Dotzev having to interfere. If Rosen Gochev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Drenta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stoyko Pishmanov to maneuver through the defense. Drenta's Radoslav Svilenov got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vergil Taushanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Niki Kerelezov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bocho Zahúnov hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Velin Mitziev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Gyupchanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, FC Blusnicevo's Nedelcho Papukchiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Velin Mitziev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vergil Taushanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Vergil Taushanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drenta's supporters rose to their feet, but Vergil Taushanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denko Dotzev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Blusnicevo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Vergil Taushanov scored to the left of an out of position Denko Dotzev, making the score, 0-1. When Nedelcho Papukchiev came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Blusnicevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nedelcho Papukchiev couldn't finish the play. Sergey Gyupchanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Velin Mitziev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Gyupchanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vergil Taushanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denko Dotzev was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Nenko Petrushev kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Blusnicevo's Ivan Filaretov got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Drenta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
