Rosen Gochev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinko Prúndachki having to interfere. With his leg Dinko Prúndachki managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Drenta's Rosen Gochev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Vergil Taushanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vergil Taushanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dinko Prúndachki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinko Prúndachki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergil Taushanov in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Viktor Pendev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC PANTERA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drenta the free kick. After 22 played minutes FC PANTERA got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Pendev. 30 minutes into the match, Drenta's goal looked a bit too open when Stancho Shaklev came free, but Velin Mitziev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toncho Karagyulev hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, FC PANTERA's goal looked a bit too open when Vergil Taushanov came free, but Dinko Prúndachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zanko Kashukeev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velin Mitziev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stancho Shaklev to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Velin Mitziev throw himself and got hold of the ball when Stancho Shaklev in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosen Gochev in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinko Prúndachki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stancho Shaklev's late challenge caught a Drenta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stancho Shaklev helped the player get up and apologised. Stancho Shaklev kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Drenta's Velin Mitziev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Drenta from getting a goal against them. Bocho Zahúnov's late challenge caught a FC PANTERA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bocho Zahúnov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Drenta's Bocho Zahúnov got a free kick in the 66th minute. Zanko Kashukeev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Drenta's Velin Mitziev got control of the ball when Zanko Kashukeev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinko Prúndachki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergil Taushanov in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC PANTERA's zone, Vergil Taushanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinko Prúndachki came out of the goal and Vergil Taushanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Vergil Taushanov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC PANTERA's Yani Batev got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Drenta's Stoyne Ushagelov tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dinko Prúndachki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergil Taushanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Drenta had played much better football throughout.
