Spectators: 4845 (Terracing: 3000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donyo Karadakov started the match with the kick off. Nencho Húntev struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Vladislav Koprinkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Samuil. 5 minutes into the game, Chavdar Kostadinchev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Partizan Cherven briag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Samuil the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Partizan Cherven briag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chavdar Kostadinchev to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Donyo Karadakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Dragolyub Biradzhiev got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 10 minutes into the match, CSKA Samuil's goal looked a bit too open when Donyo Karadakov came free, but Sava Tochkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSKA Samuil's Sava Tochkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donyo Karadakov in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute Doychin Kurshumov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sava Tochkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Donyo Karadakov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CSKA Samuil's Sava Tochkov. Sava Tochkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CSKA Samuil booed when Partizan Cherven briag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lilcho Peshev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Nencho Húntev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladislav Koprinkov. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 28th minute Niki Barilski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sava Tochkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of CSKA Samuil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Partizan Cherven briag:s goal. After a rather tough play, Partizan Cherven briag's Donyo Karadakov got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Bozhko Gaydardzhiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Velcho Dinchov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSKA Samuil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Partizan Cherven briag the free kick. In the 47th minute, Velcho Dinchov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nencho Húntev to strike the kick off in the second half. Tzoko Postolov thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Vladislav Koprinkov, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 3-2. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CSKA Samuil's Nencho Húntev fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 59th match minute, Partizan Cherven briag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donyo Karadakov to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Bozhko Gaydardzhiev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladislav Koprinkov. Partizan Cherven briag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bozhko Gaydardzhiev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. CSKA Samuil's Sava Tochkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Samuil from getting a goal against them. Sava Tochkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donyo Karadakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Niki Barilski fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Partizan Cherven briag's protests and gave Niki Barilski a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Partizan Cherven briag got a freekick which was hit by Niki Barilski. Partizan Cherven briag's Niki Barilski got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Niki Barilski off the ground. Bozhko Gaydardzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CSKA Samuil's Sava Tochkov got control of the ball when Yancho Chipev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nencho Húntev in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladislav Koprinkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Stoyne Nenovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sava Tochkov made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Milan Dechev sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doychin Kurshumov got free with Sava Tochkov in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Partizan Cherven briag's Donyo Karadakov got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Tzocho Balov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Partizan Cherven briag's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
