Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fotyo Iliev started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Anastas Vutev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Staropatiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastas Vutev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fotyo Iliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dragan Panicharov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Bozhil Deliverski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Svetozar Karadimchev to make any attempt to save it. CSKA Staropatiza's Fotyo Iliev got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Igor Begov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fotyo Iliev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dragan Panicharov having to make a save. When CSKA Staropatiza's Fotyo Iliev in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spatovo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th match minute, CSKA Staropatiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georgi Dyulgerov to maneuver through the defense. Fotyo Iliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spatovo's Dragan Panicharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastas Vutev in the 41st minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Gancho Gopev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Staropatiza's Svetozar Karadimchev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gancho Gopev was the one to do the kick off. Avgust Balov's late challenge caught a CSKA Staropatiza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avgust Balov helped the player get up and apologised. If Fotyo Iliev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Spatovo's Kiril Pchelinski got a free kick in the 64th minute. Dragan Panicharov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastas Vutev in the 72nd minute. When Spatovo's Igor Begov in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CSKA Staropatiza's goalie prevented a goal. Georgi Dyulgerov charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georgi Dyulgerov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spatovo booed when CSKA Staropatiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georgi Dyulgerov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastas Vutev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragan Panicharov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Igor Begov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spatovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Begov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svetozar Karadimchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anastas Vutev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CSKA Staropatiza's Svetozar Karadimchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gancho Gopev in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Anastas Vutev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dragan Panicharov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotyo Iliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute.
