In the 6th minute Donyo Kermov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argir Sapunarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilyan Balov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argir Sapunarov having to interfere. Donyo Kermov struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Argir Sapunarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luvovete Plovdiv. Argir Sapunarov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilyan Balov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Bayan Karabiberov managed to get in a good position for a shot. ПФК Левски 1914's supporters rose to their feet, but Bayan Karabiberov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genadi Choevski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bilyan Balov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argir Sapunarov having to interfere. Argir Sapunarov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bilyan Balov's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the ПФК Левски 1914 defense, Donyo Kermov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Argir Sapunarov. The ПФК Левски 1914 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Argir Sapunarov should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Bilyan Balov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ПФК Левски 1914's Argir Sapunarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilyan Balov in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Donyo Kermov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ПФК Левски 1914's Argir Sapunarov. Argir Sapunarov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viden Ustaliev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayan Karabiberov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Genadi Choevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genadi Choevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viden Ustaliev in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Viden Ustaliev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genadi Choevski. Luvovete Plovdiv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viden Ustaliev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Viden Ustaliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Genadi Choevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luvovete Plovdiv's Genadi Choevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Luvovete Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. After 48 played minutes, Luvovete Plovdiv's Georgi Gindev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Argir Sapunarov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luvovete Plovdiv reached it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bilyan Balov made a kick off. After some careless play in the ПФК Левски 1914 defense, Bilyan Balov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Argir Sapunarov. Bilyan Balov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Argir Sapunarov made a huge save. Bilyan Balov took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Argir Sapunarov. Argir Sapunarov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Bilyan Balov came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Luvovete Plovdiv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bilyan Balov couldn't finish the play. Krasen Tzarev was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 83 minutes of play, Luvovete Plovdiv's Bilyan Balov made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Argir Sapunarov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute of the match Georgi Gindev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Argir Sapunarov skillfully saved the ball. Andrey Rakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argir Sapunarov having to interfere. Bilyan Balov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes, Rumen Mantov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luvovete Plovdiv and the ПФК Левски 1914 players grew even worse after the yellow card.
