ФК Дунав Русе's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stoycho Demerdzhiev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Gergin Moshev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Levski Sofiq's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК Дунав Русе the free kick. Gergin Moshev kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Ignat Skenderov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Levski Sofiq's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignat Skenderov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignat Skenderov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Penko Kovachki having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Levski Sofiq's Stoycho Demerdzhiev made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Penko Kovachki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Penko Kovachki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stoycho Demerdzhiev in the 27th minute of play. Kosta Mushev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stoycho Demerdzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Penko Kovachki having to interfere. Ignat Skenderov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Penko Kovachki having to interfere.

Penko Kovachki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stoycho Demerdzhiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Levski Sofiq's goalkeeper Deyan Kutinchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sava Hadzhistoyanov scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deyan Kutinchev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Penko Kovachki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignat Skenderov's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Penko Kovachki came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Levski Sofiq's Ignat Skenderov. But to his dismay, Ignat Skenderov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Penko Kovachki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stoycho Demerdzhiev in the 67th minute of play. Kosta Mushev might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deyan Kutinchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kosta Mushev ran back to his position shaking his head. Levski Sofiq's Deyan Kutinchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sava Hadzhistoyanov in the 73rd minute of play. Sava Hadzhistoyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Deyan Kutinchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kosta Mushev in the 77th minute of play forced Levski Sofiq's goalkeeper Deyan Kutinchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Violet Karabashev hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Levski Sofiq's Stoycho Demerdzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gergin Moshev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. A collision led to Levski Sofiq getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gergin Moshev hit a great ball. Ignat Skenderov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Penko Kovachki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kosta Mushev managed to get in a good position for a shot. ФК Дунав Русе's supporters rose to their feet, but Kosta Mushev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deyan Kutinchev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sava Hadzhistoyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deyan Kutinchev having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, ФК Дунав Русе's Sava Hadzhistoyanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deyan Kutinchev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The Levski Sofiq supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Levski Sofiq would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
