After 40 played minutes, Boykovo's Anton Dzhakov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavlin Bogev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boykovo reached it. Miro Karaganev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Plamen Budinov came out and tried to block the shot, but Miro Karaganev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 80th minute. Veliko Karaburov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zahari Kandilarov hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Benkovski Teteven defense, Veliko Karaburov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavlin Bogev. The Benkovski Teteven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavlin Bogev should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Benkovski Teteven's Plamen Budinov threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miro Karaganev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Boykovo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Benkovski Teteven's performance. The match ended with a win for Benkovski Teteven.
