Momchil Peshev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yuri Nikovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of EW® Haskovo booed when FC dorostol-silistra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaklin Rakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to EW® Haskovo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Momchil Peshev hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Vaklin Rakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stoyne Muchanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tzvetan Harabaliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, FC dorostol-silistra's Yuri Nikovski got control of the ball when Momchil Peshev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yoncho Pishlyakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nikovski having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Yoncho Pishlyakov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC dorostol-silistra's goalkeeper Yuri Nikovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Momchil Peshev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nikovski having to interfere. If Stoyne Muchanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EW® Haskovo's Velizar Súmnaliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tzvetan Harabaliev in the 46th minute of play. After the first half FC dorostol-silistra were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yoncho Pishlyakov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, EW® Haskovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naum Banov to maneuver through the defense. Tzvetan Harabaliev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Velizar Súmnaliev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Velizar Súmnaliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stoyne Muchanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuri Nikovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Momchil Peshev, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Martin Nechev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuri Nikovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Momchil Peshev went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Tzvetan Harabaliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Velizar Súmnaliev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to EW® Haskovo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Branimir Parapunov hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, EW® Haskovo's goal looked a bit too open when Stoyne Muchanov came free, but Velizar Súmnaliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoncho Pishlyakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuri Nikovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Momchil Peshev's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Tzvetan Harabaliev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC dorostol-silistra's supporters rose to their feet, but Tzvetan Harabaliev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velizar Súmnaliev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tzvetan Harabaliev in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Velizar Súmnaliev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Velizar Súmnaliev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yuri Nikovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Momchil Peshev went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Yoncho Pishlyakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nikovski having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The EW® Haskovo fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC dorostol-silistra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
