In the 18th play minute Viktor Dzhambov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lyudmil Benchev. 1-1. Gercho Dinovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdravko Chaushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vihren Tzvetev came free, but Gercho Dinovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Penko Simonski came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Penko Simonski couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus FC's zone, Vihren Tzvetev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gercho Dinovski came out of the goal and Vihren Tzvetev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vihren Tzvetev sped through Juventus FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gercho Dinovski. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zdravko Chaushev made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Viktor Dzhambov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus FC and the FC Khodzhinovo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viktor Dzhambov hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus FC's zone, Vihren Tzvetev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gercho Dinovski came out of the goal and Vihren Tzvetev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zdravko Chaushev in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gercho Dinovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Khodzhinovo's Petyo Stefanov pulled a muscle in his leg after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dencho Dilchev's late challenge caught a FC Khodzhinovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dencho Dilchev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Khodzhinovo booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dencho Dilchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gercho Dinovski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Boris Vakarelski. Zdravko Chaushev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gercho Dinovski having to interfere. Vihren Tzvetev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juventus FC's Gercho Dinovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Juventus FC from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Vihren Tzvetev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Khodzhinovo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Dancho Tulev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Gercho Dinovski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Viktor Dzhambov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Viktor Dzhambov hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Dancho Tulev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Khodzhinovo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
