Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Zmejovo's Krastyo Machkanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Zmejovo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamen Pitekov in the 6th minute of play forced FC Khodzhinovo's goalkeeper Lyudmil Benchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Miro Kalpakchiev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lyudmil Benchev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tzeno Kabranski during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miro Kalpakchiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyudmil Benchev having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Miro Kalpakchiev notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Khodzhinovo's Lyudmil Benchev. Lyudmil Benchev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zdravko Chaushev was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC Khodzhinovo booed when FC Zmejovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krum Niklenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Zmejovo's Krastyo Machkanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihren Tzvetev in the 56th minute of play.
