When Lilko Bechev came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mladenovtsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lilko Bechev couldn't finish the play. In the 21st play minute Borislav Tinev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Evgeni Gorchev. 1-0. With his leg Evgeni Gorchev managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Mladenovtsi's Borislav Tinev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lilko Bechev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borislav Tinev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Evgeni Gorchev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, CSKA Pandukli's goalkeeper Evgeni Gorchev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borislav Tinev. 42 minutes into the match, Zhan Tanchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evgeni Gorchev. CSKA Pandukli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhan Tanchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. CSKA Pandukli's Evgeni Gorchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Pandukli from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diyan Radoychev made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toshko Gyulmezov during the 52nd minute.
